Trending Algorithm #

Setup trending calculation based on stories views for stories published in the last certain amount of time. Retal theme has ready page templates for weekly, monthly and yearly calculation and custom trending widget.

Featured Stories #

Theme options allow you to set featured stories in the homepage from selected categories or a certain posts. Also, you can enable trending algorithm on these selected posts or categories.

Likes Synchronization #

Retal theme automatically save user likes in the browser cookies and sync with user account when he/she logged in. Don’t worry it also retrieve the stored user likes and sync user likes and dislikes. Also it has story likes page template to allow user preview his/her likes whether logged in or not.

Setup Starting View & Likes #

With just one click, you can generate a starting fixed or random likes and views numbers for each upcoming post. Or for each old post. Or even for all Posts. Retal theme will start count views and likes from these generated numbers.

Reading Time Automatic Calculation #

No need to add reading time for each article. It’s automatically added based on average person reading speed.

Dark Mode #

Let your website detect user preferred color mode automatically. User can select color mode and theme will automatically store user selection in the browser cookies for upcoming visits. Also, you can make dark mode is default mode or even disable it.
